In 2023, we’ve promoted 8,737 people in our pubs, kitchens, hotels and head-office teams.

Over 2,500,000 pieces of e-learning have been completed, with 65,673 seats being filled in our face-to-face and virtual training sessions – from mental health and well-being, antisexual harassment and health and safety to people management and stock control.

Five hundred and fifty-eight employees have completed their personal licence examination, with 100% of our 164 new pub managers promoted internally.

Ninety-six employees have completed an apprenticeship with us, with 383 now working towards their national qualification.
